Wazo Inside

WAZO3D inside your own website

Wazo Inside puts the WAZO3D modeller in your own website or web application. Your members model right where they already are, with the tools you choose, in the look of your own site.

You choose what goes in it

Wazo Inside is not one fixed package. Your site decides which parts of WAZO3D it offers, and how they fit in.

The tools

Lines, rectangles, circles, push/pull, offset, moving, measuring, repeating, the paint bucket, placing pictures, ready-made doors and windows: offer all of them, or only what your members need.

In your own scene

WAZO draws into your own three.js scene, among your own things, at your scale and in your units. Or it brings a canvas of its own.

Your look, your controls

Use WAZO's toolbar, or none at all and your own buttons. Your application decides which keys and mouse buttons go to WAZO.

Materials

The standard textures, served from your own server if you like, at the size you choose. Plain colours on or off.

Your members' models

Kept on WAZO3D under an anonymous number your site gives: no WAZO3D account needed. A model can go on our showcase as "available in" your site.

Hints and languages

WAZO says what each tool expects next, in English, Dutch, German or Spanish; you show it where it suits your page.

Further in WAZO3D

A member who wants more can take a model to the full WAZO3D editor in one click, if you want to offer that.

The example: TRAX3D

TRAX3D is a free web application for designing model railway layouts in 3D. Model railway builders put together their track plans from the track libraries of real manufacturers — Peco, Märklin, Fleischmann, Kato, Roco and more — save them online and show them in a public showcase. With Wazo Inside they now build their own buildings and objects too, right on their layout.

How it works there

  1. On the scenery tab, the WAZO object button opens WAZO right in the layout, among the rails, at the layout's scale.
  2. TRAX3D shows its own toolbar in its own style; WAZO does the modelling: drawing, push/pull, doors and windows that cut their own openings.
  3. Bricks, planks and roof tiles come from WAZO3D's realistic texture series, served by TRAX3D itself in a size that suits a layout.
  4. When the member is done, the model stands on the layout. It is kept on WAZO3D for that member, so it can be opened again and changed later, and shared with others.
